Our mission is to (1) promote the efforts of both public institutions and non-governmental organizations working to promote social justice and sustainable development in Nicaragua and (2) facilitate cross-cultural learning by recruiting motivated individuals to participate in volunteer, educational, and internship programs.

who want to contribute to development efforts while gaining practical field

Volunteer projects that last from one to three weeks. This program allows
individuals with limited time to support development projects while immersing

Viva Nicaragua! works with institutions and organizations in the southwest of Nicaragua in the departments of Granada, Masaya, and Rivas. We collaborate with numerous organizations working to meet the many needs of these communities including women’s health and development organizations, public and non-profit clinics, youth organizations, housing projects, disabled youth centers, vocational training programs, and others.
